It Works for Me
Sometimes, one of the best resources for information about psoriasis treatments is another person with psoriasis.
It Works for Me is the only resource of its kind. It includes hundreds of helpful tips and treatment reports from people who've tried just about everything to manage their psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis.
If you've got a great tip for treating psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis that you want to share, send it to education@psoriasis.org. We want to hear from you!
Keep your skin moisturized
Twice a day, before bed and when I get dressed, I rub my calves and shins with a thin layer of Vaseline or petroleum jelly and then put on knee-high nylon trouser socks. The petroleum jelly moisturizes and the socks keep the petroleum jelly off of your clothes and sheets. You can do the same thing for your elbows, using a sock with the toe cut off and pulling it over your arm. This helps my skin feel much better, especially in the winter.
