Custom awareness campaigns and special projects

If you plan to engage the psoriasis community, there is no better way than working with the National Psoriasis Foundation. For the past three years, many companies wanting to reach this niche demographic have worked with us to develop measurable campaigns that leave a lasting impression.

Stop Hiding from Psoriasis™

In 2008, we partnered with the American Academy of Dermatology to develop and execute a campaign featuring singer LeAnn Rimes called Stop Hiding from Psoriasis™. The campaign not only encouraged people with psoriasis to see a dermatologist to better manage their disease, but also educated the public about psoriasis and dispelled common misperceptions attached to the disease. The Psoriasis Foundation activated the demographic through its many marketing platforms and the one-year campaign made at least 100 million media impressions.

Addressing Psoriasis™

In 2009 and 2010, the Foundation worked alongside one of the top PR agencies in the country to highlight Tim Gunn and the Addressing Psoriasis™ campaign, which was designed to help people with psoriasis actively manage their condition, be more confident and not let their disease get in the way of their personal style. The six-month campaign turned into two separate campaigns spanning two years. The media response was phenomenal, reaching millions of people and engaging many patients to become empowered and feel more confident.

Are You Serious?™

In December 2010, the National Psoriasis Foundation partnered with Jon Lovitz on a campaign called Are You Serious?™, which uses Jon Lovitz's humor to encourage people to speak openly with their dermatologist about the disease. The campaign features an educational website, humorous public service announcements, a song parody and more. The campaign has reached millions of people through top-level media placements and encouraged many people to talk with their dermatologists to find treatment.

  • Survey Panels: The National Psoriasis Foundation offers you the opportunity to gain a better understanding of people who live with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis by participating in our annual survey panel. The survey panel allows the Psoriasis Foundation and organizations to gather a comprehensive look at the experiences and opinions of people with psoriasis and psoriatc arthritis. These surveys help us understand the impact of these diseases, develop programs to meet the needs of the psoriasis community, and direct our research priorities.

The National Psoriasis Foundation offers many opportunities to get in front of millions of people with psoriatic disease. No campaign or special project is too large or too small.
